Thai Herbal Stem Massage...
The Thai herbal stem massage is a treatment that incorporates elements of Swedish relaxation massage, Lomi Lomi, Thai massage movements and Thai herbal compresses. The benefits are two-fold: deeply penetrating moist heat and the natural oils of the herbs that will penetrate throughout the session. You will find it an intensive, relaxing and a very detoxifying treatment. Treatment for Full Body All natural herbs and essential oils wrapped in unbleached cotton, tied by hand and vacuum packed to preserve freshness and purity. NO PRESERVATIVES OR CHEMICALS ARE ADDED. Herbal Stems are traditional massage tools used in Thailand since ancient times. Like other forms of massage, they help release toxins, increase circulation, relax muscles, and work out painful knots. Stem Massage differs because they combine soothing heat with therapeutic natural herbs and essential oils. These healing oils and resins are absorbed into the blood stream through the epidermis and react with the body chemistry in a sympathetic and gentle way. Stems can be used just in massage or be incorporated with other treatments such as facials, body wraps, etc. Stems are moistened and steamed before being gently rolled over the targeted area. As the stem cools, they can be left on aching spots a little longer. Not only do you receive a lovely massage (or facial) but you get to take the stems home with you as well, once they are cooled. They are not reused for another client for sanitary purposes.
